Over the summer, our wonderful student, Karolina, brought so much energy and dedication to the Battle River Lending Place. She kept our office running smoothly and quickly became part of the Lending Place family.
One day, Karolina shared that she had passed her learner’s license but had no way to practice driving since lessons were out of reach. That’s when volunteer Leona stepped in and recruited her husband Tom, who generously offered to help. For months, Tom took Karolina driving every week, giving his time and patience to support her journey.
Today, we are so proud to celebrate Karolina’s big achievement—she got her driver’s license! 🎉🚗
